Harry the piano – Biography

Harry the Piano is ‘the best damn pianist in the civilised world ‘ (Jonathan Ross) playing absolutely anything on piano (‘Staggering virtuosity’ – The Sunday Times, ‘An uncanny ability’ The Independent). He has accompanied almost everybody in the business from Elvis Costello & Bette Midler to David Bowie & Rick Astley.  Amazingly versatile, he has toured with the Opera Babes, played with a who’s who of British jazz musicians and plays keys on the latest Simply Red album. Have one of the world’s great pianists interacting with your clients and taking their requests to play any song in any style – The Simpsons in the style of Rachmaninov, Eine Kleine Nacht music a la Jerry Lee Lewis etc etc..Harry the Piano is an absolutely unique talent.   

Harry was resident pianist on Channel 4 TV’s Big Breakfast for 5 years & bandleader for BBC primetime show ‘Johnny Vaughan Tonight’. He’s filled the Albert Hall (2008), Symphony Hall (2010), launched the QM2, has youtube hits of over three million and is known for playing any tune in any style upon request (‘The best damn pianist in the civilised world’ Jonathan Ross). BBC radios 2 and 3 always turn to Harry for special occasions – first night of the Proms, Children in Need, the Olympic opening ceremony preview and he improvises on live audience requests such as ‘Match of the Day’ in the style of Gilbert and Sullivan or ‘Cheek to Cheek’ in the style of Mahler!
